This week’s challenge comes a little earlier than planned as I am off on my Easter jollies with the hubby & little bear cub tomorrow – woohoo! Whilst printing out the directions (yes the SatNav is broken), I thought that this would make for a great opportunity to try out some 3D illustration. So I set off on my own little journey of discovery and came up with the image you see. I really quite like the folded map effect here and I can see how this will be useful should I ever need to visualise how a print based design might need to fold. I achieved the effect using Illustrator’s 3D Map Art tool.
A short and sweet one this week as I have been rather busy! Right I’m off to pack… now where did I put my rain coat and brolly?
